Kick Music is a full service management company specialising in Event Management, program direction, publicity and artistic business development.
Tracey Collier-Griffiths has worked in the music business for more than 25 years. She has held marketing roles at Sony Music, lectured in Integrated Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Publicity and Event Management at APM Marketing Institute and managed and operated several of Sydney’s premier live music venues. She held a position on the management committee at MusicNSW for over 8 years.
As an artist manager Tracey has generated business and record releases for several acts in Australia and overseas markets including Japan, Canada and the U.S.A. In 2010 Tracey ‘discovered’ singer-songwriter Lachlan Bryan and has managed the artist ever since, co-ordinating three record release campaigns, three tours of the United States and regular Australian tours. Lachlan’s latest release ‘Black Coffee’ earned the artist his first Golden Guitar at the Tamworth Country Music Awards and achieved the coveted #1 position on the ARIA Official Hitseekers Chart. Tracey’s work with Lachlan in championing inclusive and relevant country music has made her one of the premier operators in the scene.
For 7 years Tracey was full time business manager to NSW blues/rock two piece The Fumes, working alongside them to complete two critically acclaimed albums, their campaigns, and rigorous touring in Australia, Japan (including Fuji Rock Festival), L.A, San Francisco, New York & CMJ, New Jersey, Minneapolis, Texas & SXSW and parts of Canada.
Tracey acts as Marketing Manager and Program Director for the annual Gum Ball Music Festival in the Hunter Valley of NSW. In this role Tracey books diverse acts from across the globe for the acclaimed boutique festival as well as developing media partnerships, managing sponsorship, co-ordinating publicity and building local stories in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle region. Tracey’s involvement in recent years has seen the festival grow significantly and she is now developing ‘Dashville’ (the festival site) as a multi-event venue to be utilised throughout the year.
Tracey’s vision, attention to detail and ability to deliver a strong finished product have earned her the respect of clients, colleagues and peers in the music industry and in the media. She operates with professionalism, love and care in equal measure and her enthusiasm for great music, great artists and great events is infectious.
